Our allegiance is to the flag because it’s the symbol and representation of all the ideas that make this such an exceptional country. That’s why we DON’T burn the flag.

We are in different states, yet we are united under the common ideals that make up America. We are not balkanized. We are one nation, one family, one unit made up of diverse and cooperative states.

We are a Republic. We are not a Democracy. A Republic give the little guy, the smaller states, the less populated areas just as much pull and influence as the larger areas. A Democracy is mob rule like what we’re seeing on the streets today.

We must stand up for our nation, for our values, for the ideas of freedom and liberty that make this country exceptional and we must stand up to preserve it in the face of all enemies.
