12 witnesses were polled as to whether police announced their presence.

11 said they didn't. ONE said they did. The investigation believed the one.

Never mind that in an actual TRIAL the credibility of any/all witnesses can be vetted.

That's what they're for.

#BreonnaTaylor
The officers also said ON THE POLICE REPORT that there was "no forced entry."

(They used a battering ram.).

They listed Taylor's injuries as "none" on police report.

(She died of 6 gunshot wounds)

They said no body can footage.

(One officer had a cam.)

But no trial?

FOH
So either the one officer with a body cam refused to turn on the cam or destroyed its contents after the fact.

You choose. It is one or the other.

The officers weren't even charged with filing a false police report...not even THAT.
Be clear on this before going around and saying the officers did the right thing.

If they did the right thing they would not need to lie about it in a police report, not render aid, not have to lie about bodycams and also be fired for not following internal procedures.
Don't act surprised if (once again) a city devolves into chaos because (once again) a community is told that not only do their lives not matter, but neither do their deaths.

Don't play dumb (once again) and wonder why "this" keeps happening.

It's because THIS keeps happening.
Stop asking people who are told time and time again their lives are unworthy of justice to care about what you don't want to have to see on the news after the fact.

This isn't an "unfortunate tragedy" it is a cover-up as evidenced by the bogus police report.

And you don't care.
There's also the political calculation of another Dem city descending into riots and those optics right before the election. The state AG and his proximity to Mitch McConnell can't be pushed aside.

Do they "want" a riot? No. But there's no political downside if they happen.
