☆tips for fasting☆(a thread)
this thread is mostly for beginners and ppl who r new to fasting, so some of u might already know some of this stuff !!
• WARNING

if you& #39;re new to fasting, you will be extremely fatigued and have no energy at first but over time your body will get used to it and you& #39;ll be fine. i recommend taking naps to avoid breaking ur fast.
• if ur new to fasting start off with a 12 hr fast and then go to a 16 hr then go to a 20 hr fast then to a 24 hr fast etc. if u start off with too much, you& #39;ll most likely fail and it will be extremely difficult.

• basic but drink a lottt of water. i recommend drinking half a gallon of water and if u can try to drink a full gallon as that will also help you lose weight. you& #39;ll feel dizzy and rlly hungry at times but the water helps this.
• technically consuming anything other than water or plain coffee will break ur fast but some things don& #39;t greatly affect it as long as it& #39;s under 50 cals
• WHAT U CAN CONSUME

some things that you can consume if you rlly need to and will help u fast for longer are (consume with moderation !! don& #39;t go over 50 cals)
- warm water with lime juice
- pickles
-  bone broth
- tea
- plain coffee
- any calorie free drinks
• BREAKING UR FAST

because of the stress ur body is in, when u break ur fast, ur body will start storing anything it can into fat, so try to break ur fast with raw veggies or fruit or something healthy. dont mix fat with carbs !
• VITAMINS

taking vitamins during a fast is fine but I don& #39;t recommend it because speaking from experience, vitamins on an empty stomach made me so nauseous and made my head hurt rlly bad but if you& #39;re fasting for multiple day pls take them ur body needs them !
• VITAMIN WATER

vitamin water is a good thing to consume if u feel weak during a fast and they& #39;re usually 20 cals
• HOW TO NOT MAKE UR PARENTS SUSPICIOUS

- if ur parents don& #39;t know about ur ed, tell them ur doing a diet called intermittent fasting and explain to them how it& #39;s not bad for your body and that it actually has benefits and people use this to build muscle.
• PT 2

if you& #39;re doing a 12 hour fast, stop eating after your last meal which should be around 6 or 7 and you& #39;ll be fine when you wake up in the morning.
• PT 3

if you& #39;re doing a 24 hour fast then stop eating after ur last meal (around 6 or 7) and make ur meals urself the next day and take it ur room and either flush it in the toilet or put it in toilet paper and throw in the bin.
• PT 4

if you need to eat in front of ur parents, place a napkin on the side of ur plate and slowly put the food there. if u have to put something in ur mouth then pretend to wipe ur mouth with a napkin and spit out the food while doing it
• EXERCISING

if ur feeling weak, avoid exercise.

exercising 1-2 hours before u break ur fast burns more fat and speeds uo the process as ur body is using fat as energy so when u exercise, you& #39;ll be burning more fat.

• some extra things
-if ur driving for a long time, you& #39;ll get extremely sick and nauseous so have vitamin water or eat something small or just break ur fast completely
- distract urself from hunger by doing hw, taking a nap, chewing gum, go for a walk, go out w friends
