my theory on the story between, adore you, watermelon sugar, golden and harry’s mvs

so in adore you eroda is dull right? and “the boy” has a bright smile unlike the rest of the citizens. the boy falls in love with the fish and when the fish leaves the smile becomes dull.

the new golden mv shows harry in a boat, my guess is that the boy is trying to find the fish, to get his smile back. because he feels empty without the fish, even though it was for the best.

in adore u and wms there are scenes of people with metal detectors, what is metal? gold. the boy is trying to find his gold, hence the lyric “he is golden”

i think that once the boy finds the fish, or finds some sort of closure, he becomes golden. he becomes himself because he’s not relying on the love of others for his own worth. he gets his smile back. this could also come back to wms and how happy the boy on the beach was/is.

the beach in wms could very well also be the island of eroda. all happy and bright after everyone becomes “golden”

in the adore you mv the narrator says that when the boy lost his smile, the world got darker. so theoretically when the boy gets his smile back post-fish, the world (eroda) gets brighter and becomes wms era.

another theory that connects to hs1 and harry himself is two ghosts mv and golden mv.

the outfits seem similar right?

so maybe the boy on eroda isn’t open, which is why he wears dull and tight clothes that are boring. he can’t be himself

when the boy leaves eroda, he is running away from the metaphorical “tight space” that he had been forced into. which is not himself, (also explains why he loved the fish so much, he could be himself around it)

now coming back to the clothes in two ghosts and golden, they are loose. and ik this is a stretch but they could symbolize how the boy can be free from the greyness of eroda and how dull it is. it goes deeper than the clothes.

this could be about harry himself or “the boy”. two ghosts was never released because it was too personal to harry, and what i’m saying that if golden is actually gonna be released, harry wearing the same shirt isn’t a coincidence. maybe golden just explains what he needs to say

another case of harry’s mind>> in adore you the narrator says to never leave eroda on odd number days. in the golden mv harry is in a boat, maybe driving away from eroda. the golden mv is rumoured to come out on oct 20th, which is not an odd number day, that’s why he can leave.

that’s everything i have. this is all just theory idk if it’s true.
