The Innovation in Accessibility award is a great thing and a step in the right direction! I'm all for positive reinforcement! But something about it being an award feels off to me. If it'll encourage developers to make great accessible games more often though then i'm all for it!
I just want to know what the standards for the award are. Is it just changing control configuration? Or does it take into account color blindness? What about "motion control" games for those of us with fatigue issues? As examples, of course. There are more issues too.
Again, im happy to see it and it's a step in the right direction! I think it'll be good! I just wonder what rhe criteria is for it and who decides on what should win, because if mostly "abled" people vote i feel like they'd just choosw control config which, while important, is-
just one of MANY accessibility features a can can/should offer. Thats all.
