These are just some of the ways I describe StevenHarris. Just by this list, he is a better man and Christian than ALL the sycophants attacking him.

. @SMHarris_ has faithfully represented the @ERLC and the SBC when the convention was unworthy of his talents and support. The vitriol now expressed publicly he has endured privately and patiently for some time. I regard anyone taking shots at him as lacking integrity and sense.

Certain voices in the SBC are intent on denigrating and vilifying any African American who dares think for themselves and who rejects the Trump worship and conscience-binding legalism of fundamentalist elements. Until those voices are challenged and rejected, the SBC is doomed...

To its racist and racially intransigent past and culture.

It’s good for the @smharris_ of the world to leave the association of those professing Christians in the denomination and at its agencies that would reject his gifts and disparage his name. Great will be his reward.

May God, the omniscient and just Judge who sees all, deal with those troublers of the church who divide, mock, disparage and denigrate His faithful children—Steven Harris being one of His best.

It’s time to end the partisan and racist foolishness that blemishes the Church.
