what this means is that breonna’s murder is not being seen as a crime. the officers shot at her in her sleep, killing her, and no one is being charged for murder.
instead, ONE officer was charged with reckless gunfire, not for shooting at breonna, but for potentially endangering her NEIGHBORS. only one of the officers has been fired from the louisville police department.
nobody is tweeting about this because we got new harry pictures today. if you’re reading this and you haven’t spread awareness yet, i urge you to rethink your priorities and give breonna your attention.
america needs to do better for black lives, and so does this fandom. it’s disappointing to see the amount of performative activism that happens when the boys aren’t giving us content. DONT JUST RAISE AWARENESS WHEN ITS CONVENIENT FOR YOU.
