I wrote this two weeks ago: https://twitter.com/Dr_D_Robertson/status/1304014387020169216 and it highlights that having Covid-secure workplaces or educational institutions is not sufficient to prevent the spread of the disease.
"There is a significant risk that Higher Education (HE) could amplify local and national transmission, and this requires national oversight"

"It is essential to develop clear strategies for testing and tracing, with effective support to enable isolation"
Please don't blame the students. Or any other groups, which will change according to the latest news cycle. Recent Government announcements have been confusing and this has been a very challenging summer for teenagers and young adults. And older adults. And children.
But why does this matter? It's just young people? We have seen for weeks the spread into the working population and now into the over-80s.

Read this to understand why this is a real problem for all of us, and our loved ones. https://twitter.com/Dr_D_Robertson/status/1307609224495722503
