For people who claim to 'back the blue,' Trumpland sure loves outlaw vigilantes taking the law into their own hands, supplanting local police departments.

You can either be pro-police, or you can be pro-vigilante justice (e.g., Rittenhouse, militias). You cannot be both.

2. Vigilante justice generates anarchy just as effectively as defunding the police would. It creates a chaos, with every man out for himself, no due process, fairness or objectivity, and no safety unless you take the law into your own hands.

3. So when you defend Rittenhouse and militias showing up at protests to 'keep law & order,' you migh as well be promoting defunding the police, for vigilantism is just as destabilizing to any system of law & order. There's a reason we requires a badge on law enforcement.

4. Vigilantes are outlaws posing as cops. Vigilantes are ANTI-law & order - and so are you, if you support them.
