My mom was a fk'n fighter w/ competitive spirit. This is her running in the late 80s. She was diagnosed w/ stage 4 pancreatic cancer November 2018. And she fought and fought and fought. Shit, we had to beg her to stay away from the gym during covid. I wanna tell a quick story. 1/
In our last real limited convo a few days ago we talked about running. I asked her 5k time & tried to guess. I said 21-22? And she said "shit no." Not because it was too fast, but too slow. She was upset that I even suggested that. 2/
My mom lost her battle with cancer yesterday afternoon.
She's a fk'n fighter with competitive spirit.
