LA Metro plans to widen the 605/5 interchange. If this moves forward it would destroy my parent's home, my old elementary school, & two parks to widen the freeway.

LA Metro will have taken three generations of wealth away from my family if this goes through. They took my grandparent's house & now they're planning on taking the only form of inheritance my parents have to offer.

Environmental racism exists. Systemic racism exists. This is history repeating itself that once again is targeting communities of color. We need our city leaders to stand up for us and fight against this proposal.

We can not let this proposal move forward as it will not only bring more pollution to the surrounding areas but it will take away homes from people in a state where housing is so scarce- and to do this knowing what the consequences are is state sanctioned violence.

I am absolutely appalled that LA Metro would even consider doing this. The Gateway City Cog leaders should be as appalled and disgusted with this proposal. And if they're not. Remove them.

The freeway will impact the elementary school, only one park, and it will not impact my parent's home but it will impact my neighbor's.

This is still terrible and we must bring this project to a halt.
