Like, can& #39;t we just move past this stuff? Hasn& #39;t religion served its evolutionary purpose? Especially in our current, ever-connected world?

I know the internet and social media are far from the answer, but meeting in big groups and being scared of "them over there," who worship what& #39;s essentially the same invisible dude but with different prophets, has lost its usefulness as well.

I fully support people believing whatever they want to believe, I really do, but, for fuck& #39;s sake, when the agenda of ANY invisible deity gets in the way of a more equal society and future, that shit has to go.

And, I get that deep down it& #39;s all about scarcity and resources, and that people are complex and stupid all at once, but come on.

The overwhelming majority of people want the same things: food, shelter, and safety for our loved ones and a meaningful life.

But the forces of ignorance and stupidity are powerful motherfuckers. Small hearts and small minds will ALWAYS bring humanity down. And most of those small hearts and minds don& #39;t even realize that they& #39;re doing it.

It& #39;s a shame. We experience and create SO many wonderful things in this life. It& #39;s insane to me that so many people are just waiting for it to end.
