Islamist (who are equivalent of the maga/ultra-conservatives types for this community) use these tactics against anyone calling them on their bigotry and fighting against their madness and fighting for social justice

And the worst one is this... Islamist use islamophobia card literately at every opportunity they get. the whole term has been absolutely and utterly hijacked by them and is ultimately beyond saving at this point. It's now nothing more than a shield they use against social justice

We the progressives&feminists&leftists of this community switched to the term "anti-muslim bigotry" for this very reason.

If you care about muslims then pleaseee switch to the new term we are using, and let the utterly corrupt old one die

Every time people outside of this community use that old corrupt term "islamophobia" you help the bigots wrecking this community without realizing as you give that corrupt term gravitas and power which is then used against us. No, switch to the new one and let the old one die
