hey just saying that there really is a difference between biological sex and gender because well, to put it simply, they literally have different definitions:
sex: either of the two main categories (male and female) into which humans and most other living things are divided on the basis of their reproductive functions.
gender: either of the two sexes, especially when considered with reference to social and cultural differences rather than biological ones. The term is also used more broadly to denote a range of identities that do not correspond to established ideas of male and female.
if a person wants to tell you how they socially identify, wether that be a man, woman, non binary, etc. you really don’t have to believe in it but you also don’t have the right to slate them for it. it is their own personal identity therefore it has nothing to do with you.
yes you are allowed an opinion, but if an opinion pushes into another person negatively, there becomes a point where your opinion is invalid.
an opinion is what movie you think is the best movie of all time for example. an opinion stops being an opinion when it hatefully targets a group of people.
anyways
also i think i only made this thread because in like 2017 i thought i would be more comfortable if people used both she/her and they/them pronouns in reference to me but didn’t tell anyone cause i didn’t wanna get bullied or punished for it so yeah idk A N Y W A Y S
