#Chargers DT Jerry Tillery got WAY better this offseason.
A thread:
So PART of his issues last year, IMO, is he was a rotating guy who came in with Rochell and Square.
The difference this year, particularly with Jones out, is he gets to come in w/ Bosa/Joseph/Ingram

Mebane also just isn& #39;t much of a force at NT. You can pretty much handle him 1 on 1 in most scenarios because he offers little as a pass rusher, particularly in the later stages of his career.

If I had to describe Tillery last season, I& #39;d say he was a rookie with physical upside but no real pass rush moves, and not exactly the strongest. Tries to win with length but if that doesn& #39;t work he& #39;s out of tricks.

NOW there& #39;s a plan. Tillery looks like he has a plan (the next video in the thread really shows his improvement) when rushing the passer.
Compare that to the last play and tell me it isn& #39;t night and day.

Tillery is perfection here. Use their leverage, rip n swim. I& #39;ve got it in slow motion for you, you& #39;re welcome
