Our country is so, so broken. It has been for a long time but this truly feels like a breaking point on all levels (especially leading into this election)

I also have to laugh when anyone mentions precedent anymore (looking at you, lawyer friends)—look at what the GOP is doing, on all levels. Precedent is dead and a vicious minority of hateful, greed-driven people are in charge. Unchecked capitalism is a DISEASE

And to be clear, I’m talking about a lot of things here because it’s all top of mind 24/7:

• Police brutality / mass incarceration
• SCOTUS
• Healthcare / COVID response
• Immigration / detention centers
• Gun control / white violence
• Billionaire / corporation taxes

• Trans rights being stripped away

The list goes on and on. I’m so tired and overwhelmed just trying to pull coherent thoughts about it all
