seriously, fuck off with this bullshit. we don't say transfem dirk is just as valid as transmasc dirk, so stop acting like june can somehow be read both ways

headcanoning june as transmasc essentially adds nothing to her story. she's already accepted as a man at 13 by everyone and that's it. it's boring. it adds nothing of value to her character cause the arc is already solved from page 1.

june is much more meaningful as a resolution to her entire arc with gender. it makes narrative sense, and is much better than "oh june's always been transmasc she's just depressed" which is not only boring, but frankly just depressing

"johnlikers" want to take a narrative with interesting and rich gender arcs and flatten it into "i think x character is x gender" with absolutely no analysis of their story or arc itself. do you not see how this absolutely flattens june's arc, amd homestuck as a whole?

people who are smarter than me and who can write better than me have already said a lot, so i reccommend u read their posts. i just wanted to express how frustrated and disappointed i am at the way june is treated.
