THE GENIUS OF ATLANTA.

Atlanta is a show that currently goes for two seasons. It’s my favourite show right now. The story is based around Paper Boi, his manager (Gambino) and their friend and their come up in Atlanta.

The show is so random and pretty much anything can happen but that’s the genius of it. It’s a representation of life in Atlanta.

Through its many episodes there is also a lot of symbolism and metaphors to represent society and the black community.The two best examples of this would be the use of a black Justin Bieber to show cultural appropriation and also the character Teddy Perkins (CONTINUED...)

Teddy Perkins is one of the best parts of this show, it’s a huge switch up and shows a character who resembles Michael Jackson and his whole childhood experience.

In general this show is just so entertaining, funny, random and just overall done so well. I would highly recommend y’all check it out. Gambino is truly a genius and I can’t wait for season three.
