WEDNESDAY UPDATE TIME

Every Wednesday me and @Aleex_Harris will be openly documenting our progress at @LDN_Esports to try and give an insider to our day to day lives

If you didn't see last weeks thread then make sure to read it here: https://twitter.com/Aleex_Harris/status/1306307023139672066

This week's talking point will be based around partnerships and our approach to them. I wanted to go through how we prepare, how we approach potential partnerships and how we keep partners happy.

Preparation -

Before approaching brands you need to be prepared. This means having your deck ready and your presentation ready on why you deserve to be working with this brand.

Make sure that you know what your USP is and why you are the perfect brand to be working with

this company.

The biggest mistake we made in the early days of @LDN_Esports was messaging every potential partner we could think of and saying 'Hi, we have 500 followers please give us money' and was then shocked when we didn't get a reply!

Make sure you understand your value.
Approaching a potential partner -

When approaching approaching a potential partner there are a few key details you need to make sure you have.

- Don't just copy and paste a lump of text to them
- Tailor your proposal to their brand
- Never EVER send the wrong brand name

Keeping partners happy -

Once you have successfully onboarded a partner, it then turns into how you can keep your partner happy and showing them why you are worth the investment they are putting into you.
