I've been listening to feedback from voters since @jjhorgan announced an election. I recognize and understand the anxiety around having an election during the pandemic.
However, we have to remember that we're in this for the long haul. COVID-19 will still be with us in a year 1/
and we need to make sure that our government has the stability to not only have a strong response to the second wave, but also to have a strong economic recovery plan for the next 4 years. 2/
We're also dedicated to making sure that this election happens as safely as possible. We'll be phoning and emailing, instead of having conversations face-to-face. We won't be holding big rallies or events, but we'll see you at a distance, outside, whenever possible. 3/
As for voting -- there will be many safe voting options in place.
If voting by mail is the most comfortable option for you, head to https://elections.bc.ca/  to register and receive your ballot in time. I did it in literally 2 minutes!
