How did Ryan Kaji of 'Ryan's World' become the highest-paid YouTuber?

The 8-year old made over $26 million from Youtube.

But the cash-cow would have to be his toy line which made over $200 million in retail sales.

TWO. HUNDRED. MILLION.

2) In 2015, this kid's parents started doing homemade videos of him unboxing toys.

To their surprise, a shit load of people kept tuning in, doubling month after month.

Ryan's World then brought in PocketWatch as a production studio / agent.
3) PocketWatch is responsible for getting brand deals, and distribution.

They connected Ryan's World with Walmart, Target, Nickelodeon, Roku, Colgate, etc.

Most importantly, PocketWatch helped land the partnership with Bonkers, a toy company.
4) Bonkers noticed that Ryan does a lot of reviews on mystery boxes, and so they launched "Ryan's World Giant Mystery Egg".

That toy became a massive hit, and on the day of its launch, it sold out in 10-minutes.
5) That's just one of the many toys under Ryan's brand. He even has a LEGO-ish toy (I've seen the reviews, and the quality is shit)

It doesn't stop on physical toys tho, Ryan also has a mobile game that's been downloaded more than 5 million times and a PS4/Xbox game.
6) Oh and he employs a 30-person production team. No biggie.

It's an incredible feat, but I still cant shake off how annoying his parents are in the videos. But then to be fair to them, if what I'm doing on camera rakes in 26 mil, I could not care less about what people say 😂
