Yesterday's announcements mean six more months of working for home for those of us who are normally office based. How do we make that work well? I thought I'd share a few nice ideas from @CBItweets members which I've come across.
Coffee roulette (I love this one) aims to recreate the experience of popping into the kitchen and making a chat with who ever is by the kettle, by assigning random coffee chats to people who sign up.
CEO town halls, with the chance for employees to ask questions and interact with the senior team. A great way to help everyone feel connected, and clear about the sense of direction their company is taking. Especially important as there's so much change happening due to Covid.
Meeting free hours (e.g. no internal meetings between 12-2) helps people take proper breaks and have better work life balance (could be helpful during shorter daylight hours to help people get a chance to get outside)
Digital away days - with lots of interactive online events. These can be a nice chance for colleagues to share their passions with others.
