I am 16.

I cannot yet vote.

I did not have a say on Brexit, nor in the election. My voice is unheard.

I promise you all on thing: my generation will NOT vote for the Tories, who have destroyed our futures.

Expect war.

Literally, even the most apolitical friends of mine are really sick to death with the Tories.

We have been let down.

A housing crisis.
Covid-19 delaying our learning.
Economic inequality.
Poverty.
Hunger.
Racism.
Depression.

My generation will NOT accept this any longer.

I have nothing to look forward too.

Brexit has halted my future plans... I wanted to study abroad, but now it’s ten times as difficult.

Is this the future you all want for my generation?

The same generation that will be hurt the most by climate change?

Of course, it’s not to say there aren’t ANY Tories in my generation - there are quite a few.

Some of us have opened our eyes earlier.
