Y’all handled this CA shit atrociously. I get not wanting to be a fandom that ignores/hides your groups mistakes, but blowing shit out of proportion is not going to compensate for.

Not the only post, along with multiple questions I got about it. Obviously we know now some natives did find her teaser offensive/uncomfortable. But who the hell do y’all think you are to even ask that before someone has a problem with it? Hell, even antis wouldn’t be able to
spread if it’s offensive or not within 5-10 mins. No NATIVE mentioned it that fast for y’all to be looking at that picture and thinking “that does look Native American to me.” What that says to me is you think my culture is this hippy bullshit where we just put fake feather
accessories in our hair along with a couple braids.

Also idk who tf edited the teasers. But 1. Hyejoos did not need edited. 2. It doesn’t sit right with me not knowing if a native did or not. Because it’s gross as hell to imagine a non-native taking out what they think made the pic offensive. This point of thread is more milk tho

The “no natives were offended” was a response to the rose in love4eva and how roses are not a stereotype of natives. So no white savior made tweets about it. And that no native (that I know of) found it offensive.
