Five overseas players who will look to improve themselves (A thread) :

1. Nestor Gordillo- He had a big role in the title winning campaign of Chennai City FC in the ILeague, but the ban! With the likes of Joao Victor and other good Midfielders in the squad. He will have a challenge to step up in order to get the spot.

2. Diagne- A defender and a Defensive Midfielder at a same time, Diagne's run was interrupted due to the injuries. This season he will have a chance to improve his performance to bring Odisha FC up, which already has bagged the likes of Taylor and Tratt on the defense.

3. Gallego- There isn't much need to speak of him. All know how good he is. That injury costed him a lot! The management has put faith on him again and handed a new contract to him. Expectations are high!

4. Raphael Augusto- No need to say anything about him. All of us knows how good he is. But last season wasn't upto the expectations. We all know what he can cause when the Brazilian is in form.

5. Grande- Last season performance wasn't upto the expectations. Has the ability of playing in India but this will be the last chance to prove himself in the ISL. This time he will have the task of linking up with Valskis and adopt the cracking attacking football of Owen Coyle.
