@LBC Yesterday was very difficult.
Personally and politically.

The producers from @mrjamesob’s show hung up on me when I was trying to tell them this:

My response to the “rebellion" lead by Graham Brady MP and the media’s failure to identify the lie
I called in response to @theousherwood’s report but to be clear, media has universally missed this point of @SirGrahamBrady’s back bench rebellion.
Anyway, The producer said ‘yeah’ dismissively and cut the line while I was mid flow in describing the quality and credibility of my sources: I was citing were not fringe analysis, but submissions of evidence to parliament, reports & briefings from over 100 organisations. Example?
Well, these are just some of those organisations:
Human Rights Watch @libertyhq @amnesty @BrexitCSA, Lawyers for Britain, @JUSTICEhq, The Law Society, The Law Society of Scotland, The Law Society of England and Wales, @fawcettsociety ...Oh look I’m out of space. Continue reading.
Human Rights Consortium, Human Rights Consortium of Northern Ireland , Thomas Paine initiative and the actual @EHRC Equalities and Human Rights Commission.

I will continue adding to this thread but tweeting this now just if @mrjamesob’s show as it was his producers
I feel it’s worth pointing out to @LBC @mrjamesob @ShelaghFogarty that when I called customer care and having heard me out I was actually commended for my perseverance and dedication to this good and important cause.

So maybe you should have heard me out, you have my number.
So I immediately wrote an email to the adress I was provided.
I also copied and pasted the same on a text to @LBC during @ShelaghFogarty’s show. The message read as follows:
Hello,

James O’Brien’s producers hung up on me when called about Theo Usherwood utterly failing in the way he reported on this Tory back bench rebellion. It's not just him though. All of you have been failing us. Please put this right and let the truth be heard.
People have to know the truth, and they must be exposed.
I was telling them about how Graham Brady MP and co voted for the withdrawal act and for all the most illiberal and anti democratic provisions in the Withdrawal Act which game ministers powers like coronavirus act powers
I was explaining how important it is for peole to have the full context. The misrepresentation such an omission allows for is truly dangerous and detrimental to our discourse and democracy and a whole.
I am producing explainer videos on YouTube, so it seems easiest to direct you there where you can also find sources in the descriptions below the videos.

( I understand why their eyes might’ve rolled at YouTube videos but when the media have failed people, what else can I do?)
3 relevant videos are:

1. Brady Rebellion

Tory “rebellion" lead by Graham Brady MP and the media’s failure to see the lie
2. What the government are doing to diminish rights, what rights have we already lost? (I also mention attacks on rights outside the withdrawal act too)

It's Happening. Part 1: Attack on Rights
3 Withdrawal Act

The Power Grab, Theft Rights & Who Gets Extra Screwed.

This covers everything the media failed to cover adequately in the Withdrawal Act. For information on rights specifically, I’d recommend the new Attack on Rights (more to the point.)
To start with, here are two sources (more in the ‘description’ under each of the videos)

1, The source I would recommend for getting to grips with the power grab in the withdrawal act.

Amnesty & liberty withdrawal act joint briefing

https://www.amnesty.org.uk/files/Liberty-AIUK-brief-2ndreading-Brexit.pdf
And just to demonstrate the credibility of my sources: ECHR

Equalities & Human Rights commission - EU Withdrawal Bill will not protect UK rights: open letter

I Really don’t understand. For starters, how people who are paid to do what I dedicate my time, but fail so profoundly, so often. I don’t understand how they could have reported on the withdrawal act at any point and not learnt about all of this.
To fail to come across this official information when your paid to do what I do out of dedication and free time, I don’t understand. I also don’t understand why on the @LBC producer would not allow me to at least continue to explain the credentials of the experts and sources
So then I tried calling into @ShelaghFogarty’s show and they heard me out, said they’d call me back and didn’t.

So I sent another text to @LBC during @ShelaghFogarty’s show:

This talk of freedom ties in with the reason Brady and co CLAIM to take issue with
these coronavirus act powers - but they are hypocrits.

It is impossible to argue that what I need to say doesn't meet the public interest test. Remember your purpose: It's about what is the public's interest not what the public is interested in.

@LBC @mrjamesob @ShelaghFogarty
This is not about arguing to remain it's about our future under a government that pulled off an unprecedented power grab under the nose of the news.

@UKHouseofLords constitution committee said of the withdrawal act: “Fundamentally flawed from a constitutional perspective.”
Liberty & Amnesty International Joint briefing

"The bill's unprecedented delegation of legislative powers to the executive represents a serious constitutional problem. The government has not made a case for why such broad ill-defined powers are necessary"
Realising that, in my haste, I had forgotten to include my phone number in the text to @ShelaghFogart’s show, I followed it with this text:

The text going on about the Withdrawal Act is me, Rosanna.

I can't understand why James O'Brien's producers hung up on me and
I don't understand why it's not a priority for you to get someone as informed as my self on to communicate something that is absent from the conversation. I just don't understand. Please. It's wrong that they are getting away with misrepresenting themselves so egregiously.
It’s maddening that all I need is for some one to listen to me then act on what I tell them and have it inform their analysis of U.K. politics because this colours the context of everything and nothing can be understood as what it is without that context.

End of text.
