Yes, there are some ethnic things brewing in that BBN standom, but Erica also has female fans from all parts of the country. I see this thing more as a conflict between her and misogynists/people who coddle and justify male entitlement.
Basically, Erica has a lot of female Yoruba fans imo, and there’s no need to erase them because some people are doing the most. We all know what the root cause of this matter was, and it isn’t ethnicity. That was just pulled into the issue as things progressed.
Example: the Teni video where she was discussing the Layrica situation and referred to Erica as ‘omo Igbo’. The basis of the video was the rejection/friendship-gone-bad, but she added a sprinkle of tribalism to reinforce her solidarity with him and his actions.
Proof video. Bottom barrel behavior. I expected better from her tbh.
I am not trying to cancel Teni. I was illustrating the point that it’s not primarily about ethnic groups for people - they’re reacting to the situation in the BBN house, and things devolve from there. I feel like people are missing the point of this thread, so I’m muting.
She has some great male supporters too btw. Not trying to erase them either. I was just making a point about what I observed over the past few weeks.
