It's #BiVisibilityDay. I'M BI/PAN!

I've been out in my workplaces, friend groups, and communities for over 20 years. Acceptance of bi folk has improved a bit, but not enough. We often are a forgotten group that falls between support systems. LGBTQI+ campaigns often miss the B.
Another thing of note about being bi/pan for #BiVisibilityDay is that masc-presenting and non-binary bi folk are rarely seen in the media. Patriarchal 'male gaze' denies that we exist in a different manner from the erasure of femme-presenting bi folk.
A final thought for #BiVisibilityDay is that we see 'bi/pan' behaviours used as shorthand for evil, possession, or moral weakness too often in fiction/media. Being bi has nothing to do with our moral standing, any more than being straight or gay makes you automatically good/evil.
Also please excuse the missing 'A' at the end of LGBTQI in the beginning of this thread. Ace and Aro people are awesome and important too (and face their own significant challenges for representation).
