It& #39;s #BiVisibilityDay. I& #39;M BI/PAN!
I& #39;ve been out in my workplaces, friend groups, and communities for over 20 years. Acceptance of bi folk has improved a bit, but not enough. We often are a forgotten group that falls between support systems. LGBTQI+ campaigns often miss the B.

Another thing of note about being bi/pan for #BiVisibilityDay is that masc-presenting and non-binary bi folk are rarely seen in the media. Patriarchal & #39;male gaze& #39; denies that we exist in a different manner from the erasure of femme-presenting bi folk.
A final thought for #BiVisibilityDay is that we see & #39;bi/pan& #39; behaviours used as shorthand for evil, possession, or moral weakness too often in fiction/media. Being bi has nothing to do with our moral standing, any more than being straight or gay makes you automatically good/evil.
