People need to understand, we are in an autocratic attempt now. Have been for almost 4 years. We're about to witness the breakthrough, or near breakthrough, in the coming months. 1/n

Trump is absolutely going to dispute the election, he's going to play dirty in ways we can't even imagine to stay in power. This is absolutely inevitable. The Senate will back him. And maybe the Supreme Court. 2/n

At around 11 pm November 3rd, networks are going to begin calling it for Biden, or it's going to become obvious that of the ballots remaining to be counted, Biden will win (blue shift) 3/n

Trump will declare victory, and do everything to prevent the remaining ballots from being counted, including and up t having federal agents seize and destroy them before courts can intervene. What can SCOTUS do to force them to be counted if they're already gone? 4/n

Regardless, there's going to be protests, and Trump is already angling for martial law. It's going to make the summer look tame. People are going to be angry. 5/n

Regardless, SCOTUS is going to pick a winner. Given what Romney just did, it just made it a lot more likely that it's Trump, even though it will be obvious to most observers that it was actually Biden if all the votes were counted. 6/n

It's probably not even gong to be close: I'm looking at Biden +7 today, and based on the 2018 election results, I think it's at least that if not more. It won't matter, however. Trump and his cronies will find a way. Remember, none of them can be prosecuted for federal crimes 7/n

while Trump is still in office.

Remember how Trump has been taking the attitude toward blue states of "let them die" of forest fires and COIVD-19? How he's trying to federalize them by taking over their cities with martial law? 8/n

Can you imaging Newsom, Cuomo, Inslee, or others accepting the legitimacy of the Administration after it has done something to clearly steal an election Biden had (probably) won legitimately, including the electoral college? 9/n

Conversely, suppose by some miracle Gorsuch and Roberts side with liberals on the court (and this is the ONLY way we get to a Biden Presidency), Trump and the Senate will do everything they can to destroy any sense in red states of his legitimacy. 10/n

Can you imagine states like Idaho, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Alabama accepting Biden as President when no almost none of the Republican base in their states do, and Trump is actively encouraging the belief that he's still President? 11/n

We are hurtling towards a moment in time where a significant numbers of states no longer recognize the legitimacy of the federal government, no matter who ends up winning. And keep in mind, if Trump crimes his way to an election result (ballot destruction)... 12/n

There's absolutely nothing we can do if SCOTUS declares we should just count the votes we have left. And if the House picks the President... it's going to be Trump based on the the rules of the Constitution. 13/n

Anyway, believe me, or don't, but I don't really see a way this doesn't turn into a situation where large chunks of the country no longer recognize the federal government as legitimate. 14/n
