You are absolutely consumed from head to toe with pain. Your body is shaking so much. Your teeth chattering so much. You burn with pain . Every bit of you is on fire. Your voice gone .replaced by truly weired whimpering.

My eyes closed tight so that I don't increase my pain as my body is burning with pain every move I make. Just 6yrs old. How do you cope? Dying is better i thought. Surely pain will stop. Surely I be with angels as I am a child.

My family are my pain. I can't look at anyone. My eyes permanently fixed to the floor. I see them .I see my pain. Pure and simple. The hut is filled with smell of blood. Most horrendous smell. I still can't get rid of that from me.

Imagine 36- 40 degrees and mix it with blood .the smell keeps on changing. The relief i had was. Looking up seeing the light peek through and I looked on how light gas small things going through it. It became my fascination on how and what was those things

As a child, I was naturally very curious one. For me it was a destruction for me. Now imagine 800 girls just this morning alone been mutilated.

Their lives completely changed. Some will die from various complications. Most will surviving with pain for life. This is a cruel, vicious violence towards women and girls..200 million women and girls worldwide . Have been subjected to Female Genital Mutilation.
