There are Twitter accounts which are designed to inflict targeted harassment.

Accounts like @thecbmcringe only exist to mock and encourage mass online bullying.

If you care about mental health and ending suicide, please report accounts like this so we can save lives.

It is not enough to donate to the @afspnational and then participate in/turn a blind eye to bullying and targeted harassment on a mass scale.

We have to be better. We need to lead by example.

Our fan base must have higher standards than others. We are a beacon.

Starting from Friday, we are going to prevent anyone who follows accounts like that from following us.

We have had a stand of not getting involved in personal fan disagreements, and that will continue.

However, we have to take a stand against bullying on a mass scale. Enough.
