I understand that when lawyer said ‘civil lawsuit isn’t the main focus’, he meant the company and B don’t focus on clamming on (monetary) damages from civil crime but focus more on criminal crime from defamation.

Recently, there are an actress filing defamation lawsuits (civil crime) suing for 1 million thb from each accused. So I assume that the lawyer meant that company and B don’t focus on this but rather criminal lawsuit instead.

For apologizing part, the lawyer used ‘I believe that they want...” (5.52 mins). Then the reporter asked whether they will be okay with accused only apologizing or not. The lawyer told that he can’t confirm/speak about this atm. (6.28 mins)
