Huawei without Google services really sucks.
Everyday you're forced to search the internet for hacks and download the dodgiest apps just to have your phone function almost normally.

Social media apps? Most of them work fine, they've given me no problems EXCEPT Twitter. Twitter is forever crashing. It closes every 2 minutes or so, or about 5 times every 15 seconds.

Sometimes I have to write a long ass tweet on the notes app then come paste it here because this app just crashes even in the middle of me typing

When I see an interesting thread I quickly add it to bookmarks in case Twitter closes and I lose it before reading it. I've tried everything, Petal App search, you name it, to download a version that won't give me problems, hasn't worked. And I'm not used to it. A bit frustrating

YouTube doesn't work since its a Google app. I installed YouTube Vanced, it's a perfect alternative. Better than the original app because videos can play in the background, while you're busy on another app, you don't even need to split screen.

The problem however is, I cannot link my Gmail to my YouTube so I can't subscribe, like videos, or save them to watch them offline later. I've followed a tutorial on how to link the two but it always fails at the last stage - can't connect to Google server.
