I've essentially written 2020 off in terms of social life. I'm prepared to tolerate it atm but if lockdowns continue into 2021 I'll probably flout them egregiously. Life is short enough as it is.

Another boomer who thinks young people should suck it up and stay in the house forever

As a chap I interviewed in Bournemouth put it recently, “There are some people that wouldn’t surprise me if they’re still in lockdown in 10 years’ time… There’s a certain mentality."

Before people chime in with some self-righteous crap, I've been shielding someone for six months. I've earned my right to complain.

FYI this isn't a rant against things like masks. Only assholes refuse to wear them imo. I'm specifically referring to lockdowns.
