Progressive Web Apps are web apps that use emerging web browser APIs and features along with traditional progressive enhancement strategy to bring a native app-like user experience to cross-platform web applications.
Low data consumption
It requires very low amount of data to use e.g. a PWA app can be 2.8mb large while it's native app can be 30mb and still perform same feature
Low data storage. It takes up very low amount of storage on your device.
Offline mode v PWAs can be cached by the web browser and used even when offline.

You can use without downloading in app store and also developers don't need to pay app.
