Yesterday was a baptismal of patriachy humor.

But underneath those jokes, there's a level of truth. And because there's that, there's possibility someone will take those jokes and act on them.

I think it was Larry who asked a question yesterday and it got me thinking...
I believe he asked, I can't remember the exact wording but it was something in this line, that's there's a possibility someone doesn't see it as jokes at all and actually takes it as a manual on how to treat women. He thinks that's how to be a strong man.

That's a deep question.
It is good in this way for us to keep eachother in check. So, that question got me thinking and I'll be a fool if I didn't accept there's the possibility of that happening.

So here and now away from the jokes, I'd like to clarify a few things for the men who may see it that way.
That's not how to be a man, there's no instruction on how to be a man in those jokes, infact what we are doing with those jokes is taking how not to be a man, turning it into humor to piss off the some people who I like to call angry birds/ cerebrally marginalised tadpoles.
That's all we are doing. We are not giving you instructions on how to be men.

We are making jokes about how not to be men and capturing it in humor to piss of a group of people who we believe to be irredeemably evil in their agenda.

So don't take those jokes to heart.
I assure you none of us treats the women in our lives that way.

Most of these guys are devoted husbands and boyfriends. They are good friends to their friends and generally stand up guys. So if the idea you got from the jokes is how to be shitty towards women, rest assured
when you get casted. We'll be more than happy to dig your social grave.

On the other hand, if you want to learn about positive masculinity, I'll be devoting some time on my platform to write on that in the coming days.
Until then, treat people as individuals. Be kind to those who are kind to you, be good to those who are good to you and take yourself out of every situation where you're being taken advantage of and leeched on. Appreciate being appreciated and if somebody moves mad, show them mad
You're not Jesus after all.
