I still stand by the opinion that he still has the qualities to become a top level FB, just not at Barça. He's quick, a good dribbler, a good defender and physically strong enough to win most duels he finds himself in.

All of this is a solid enough foundation for Nuno to work with and build him up from. All he needs to improve upon is his associative play and movement in the final third, which I trust he will under Nuno, just look at how Traore has grown under him.

Also, it wouldn't be the first time a FB looked considerably better as soon as they left Barça. Lucas Digne has looked 10x the player he ever was at Barça ever since he left.
