1. In 1947, Pakistani Army & raiders massacred thousands of Hindus & Muslims in its attempt to invade Jammu & Kashmir (J&K).
2. It bifurcated the captured territory into Pak Occupied J&K (PoJK) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB).

3. In 1949, Pakistan brought more than 85% of PoJK land, strategically important for its connectivity with China & control of rivers.
4. ‘Kashmir Council’, created for PoJK, was dominated by Pakistani federal authorities vested with wide ranging powers .

5. Interim constitution placed restrictions on anyone criticizing Pakistan’s land grab & occupation of the region.
6. 13th amendment of ‘interim constitution’ of PoJK transferred Kashmir Council powers to Prime Minister of Pakistan.

7. In 1974, Pak scrapped GB’s domicile law, allowing outsiders to settle, systematically altering demography of the region.
8. ISI & their agencies systematically used violence against people in PoJK & GB—enforced disappearances, murder, detentions, custodial deaths, torture etc

9. Both in PoJK and GB, Pakistan rules with an iron hand, denying freedom to press and access to foreign media. News is controlled by ISI & Pakistan Army.
10. And after the occupation of India’s territory, Pakistan has decided to swallow the region by making GB its 5th province.

In 1988, two years before Pakistan Army orchestrated ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits, using its jihadi terrorists in Indian Kashmir, it used Sunni tribals to execute a brutal POGROM against ethnic Shias to change Gilgit’s sectarian demography. #StandWithGilgitBaltistan
