I kind of don't agree with Fleming's & MS's logic last night. Yes i agree that MS has had no game time for over a year so shouldn't he be batting more rather than coming at the end?
MS even in his prime needed 10-12 deliveries to tee off. Now he needs more than 20 deliveries. So he should have come after Faf to get in the groove & the last over showed that he can STILL clear the fence with ease then why not bat up the order?
That would have given Faf more support & Curran the role of the finisher at the end. There is no ground big enough for MS to clear & yesterday was a small one so that wasnt an issue.
By sending everyone above him & then taking singles & hitting sixes when it's impossible to win doesn't really give any confidence.
