omg lemme explain. SO. in short, AK's father is related to RK's grandfather. Now, Prithviraj Kapoor is RK's grandfather AND the brother of AK's father, Surinder Kapoor

now, if label the generations, Pritrviraj Kapoor is in the 2nd gen of Kapoors in films (there was one before him) & so is Surinder Kapoor. Anil Kapoor & Raj Kapoor are in the 3rd gen. Rishi Kapoor & Sonam are in the same gen, the 4th gen. Ranbir is in the 5th gen.
