I turned 65 today. I am all too aware of what women went through without basic HUMAN RIGHTS. I could not get credit in my name. Yet if I married, his debts became mine. I had to FIGHT to get property in my name that I BOUGHT. 1/4
Doctors decided on their own that if you were single you could not get birth control. Catholic OBGYNs could withhold birth control from even married women. Pharmacists could refuse to fill your scripts (Many still do TODAY if they have a "moral objection" to what you take) 2/4
Abortions? You were lucky if you had a friend of a friend that knew someone that would butcher you on a kitchen table and leave you unable to have children later. This was what women faced every single day. I want to shake the women who support this maniac & his sick agenda. 3/4
Say goodbye to your body, your rights, your personhood. If you are reading this & think that I am an alarmist, think again. Women have always been expendable & treated as if they don't matter, even now, we are still treated like we should be grateful for a pat on our heads. 4/4
