Prada Group’s Financial Reports for H1 2020 & they said that there is a continuing excellent performance in both Taiwan and South Korea, showing a double-digit trend throughout. Because of this, the entire Asia Pacific reported growth in June. Must be why they chose #IRENE

#Irene officially being named as an ambassador didn’t just spring out of nowhere. Over the years, Irene has attended Prada events in Korea was also invited by #MiuMiu, Prada’s subsidiary brand in PFW where she created so much buzz and even met THE Miuccia Prada.

Before Miu Miu announced that Irene was the first Korean ever to be invited to their Paris Fashion Week show, Irene was consistently seen wearing Miu Miu. Following her Vogue pictorial, Irene became a #GirlinMiuMiu and had a whole campaign and fashion video made for her.
The partnership didn’t end there& months later, she attended a Prada event. Irene was also seen sporting Prada everywhere. A few months into 2020, she tagged Prada & we already know she only tags brands she works w/. She was also invited to watch the digital show recently.
It came as no surprise that #IRENE was eventually announced as one of PRADA’s ambassadors

Pointed these out because ambassadors are chosen not only because someone has had a sponsored photoshoot or has consistently worn a specific brand’s items but brands definitely look at the trustworthiness, credibility, and the marketability of a potential ambassador
