/ Late to Twitter (2018), I’ve written a lot about #Bosch. About the deft accuracy of casting, about the tight, spare writing that never wastes your time. About the music, about LA-as-character. About how @welliver_titus inhabits Harry Bosch. I’ve written about the show's
/ respect for the viewer. About how the actors allow the characters to grow. I’ve even written about the beauty of micro-expressions. About the power of the quiet spaces. I don’t know what else to say to convince @AmazonStudios & its execs that killing this series at
/ the end of S7 is a major mistake. Major. Will the world end if Bosch ends? Of course not. But that doesn’t mean it’s no big deal. How often do we see TV this good? With actors of such range & power to evoke thought & emotion? With a commitment to diversity & representation?
/ Not often enough. Harry’s story is still being told. Amazon has a chance to move him into a rapidly changing world, & to say something about its own vision, its own character, its own role in that world. Do the right thing, Amazon. You’ve already seen the loyalty & dedication,
/ & been rewarded for 6 seasons of exceptional TV. Commit to more of that. You will not regret it, I promise you.
