A thought

What are we fighting against in the long term?
The answer is the idea some people should have the right to control everyone else.
Racism, sexism ableism, anti lqbtq etc (someone tell me the right letters at some point?)
consider who is going to feel MOST attacked here?
The answer is anyone who benefits from systematic bias.
The system is set up for the stereotypical average white guy.
That has to change. If the idea of changing that default bothers you, take a good long look at yourself.
Most people in power should be women or minorities
This is purely based on demographics.
One third of the population should have one third of the power.
2/3 of people in the usa are women or minorities.
So for the country to be equal 2/3 of the power should also be in the hands of women and minorities.
this is math
so here's my point
No matter what you blather about freedom and truth...
Systemic bias of all kinds is based on lies.
And freedom doesn't happen without applying to everyone
If you can't stop playing the privilege card how can you be trusted when you can't stop lying to yourself?
This mostly is a reaction to the various sexist guys who get butthurt when a woman is better than they are. But it also applies to other forms of bigotry.
Please consider also if you are certain you can trust someone who feels attacked by the concept of equality?
Or rather. someone who feels threatened by it and is unwilling to admit to that fact.
For whites this means check the white privilege card. For men, male privilege.
Etc.
In any situation social status is going to be relevant.
so before you tweet something..
Think.
The most troubling aspect is I didn't consider this.
But a commitment to truth and freedom is a direct threat to the status of white males leading the world.
This is inevitably going to turn some people against what they claim to value.
Because they want lies and a class system
