you can do things to help. walk more. bike more. public transportation. carpool. RECYCLE. reduce your plastic waste. eat less meat. unplug your devices and chargers from the wall when you aren’t using them. spend a little more supporting green businesses. quit buying fast fashion https://twitter.com/amayanyc/status/1308263320189726723
plant a garden! line dry your clothes. there are so many things to do. earth provides us with life & energy but we are draining her. she invested in us. let us come here and see beautiful places. she’s let us rent out her space for free. the least we can do is give back to her.
i try to support a lot of small brands and green businesses. if you ever need the “green” version of something, i got you.

for instance, i get alll of my personal care from @byhumankind

VEGAN AND ADORABLE will hook you up food wise. eat less meat. https://twitter.com/keyara_nickole/status/1308144254393356288
honestly yall, i don’t wanna hear that corporations have a greater carbon footprint. they do but who supports them? who funnels money into these spaces? if people.. came together as a community to do things.. you could influence the world.
you give them power. you fuel them. where you put your money speaks volumes. the government works off money. businesses work off money. one of the reasons the US is so invested in the middle east is to provide the US with oil to keep gas prices low & oil companies UP. it’s money.
and TRUST, i BELIEVE it IS the government’s responsibility to regulate corporations. but they literally do not and will not.

it is not possible for those in poverty to do these small things. but that is EXACTLY why we have to arm up as a COMMUNITY, NOT individually.
just imagine community love. free hand me down clothes and more community gardens and community refrigerators. teaching people how to shop for food. imagine if the ones that had money fueled the ones that don’t. the gov’t won’t do it but shit i will. it takes a village tho.:)
i’m tryna figure out a solution that is realistic. for those saying we need to leave it to the gov’t to regulate corporations... they won’t. so we have to participate to make them change (i.e.. vote locally) but ppl DONT WANNA VOTE.. soo then we have to do community work.
