What does each Caribbean island call the community savings system where each person contributes the same fixed amount (usually weekly) + all the money is taken by a different member of the cooperative?
In Trinidad we call it “sou sou”.
The Bahamas says “asue”.

These responses + QT’s reminded me why I love us. We get to explore and connect with each other as a region. It is a beautiful thing that all Caribbean people should honestly always cherish
