MY TOP 10 FAVORITE TYLER, THE CREATOR SONGS

Tyler is an artistic genius, and his music is an amazing reflection of that!
#10: THE BROWN DARK STAINS OF DARKEESE LATIFAH PART 5 (Feat. ScHoolboy Q)

I love this song due to the amazing instrumental choice. Every single sound was handpicked to create an explosive and fun environment. Q and Tyler both drop great verses as well
#9: Lone

Lone is so interesting, the dynamic of the track is Tyler venting to Dr. TC about all of his problems, mostly including fame and the death of his grandmother. It feels like Tyler got so much off his shoulders in this track, one of his most introspective
#8: She (Feat. Frank Ocean)

This is a classic Tyler song. Graphic storytelling accompanied by beautiful melodies from Frank. Tyler’s obsessive habits lead to him getting caught stalking her, and in the music video, arrested
#7: Where This Flower Blooms (Feat. Frank Ocean)

This song introduces the common themes on Flower Boy, growth and expression. Tyler explains how he used to live before making it big, then, how drastically his life has changed. Tyler encourages everyone to be their true selves
#6: Garden Shed (Feat. Estelle)

Garden Shed, what an absolutely gorgeous track. Most people Tyler’s lyrics on this track refer to keeping ones sexual orientation a secret. It makes sense, a Garden Shed would be a Flower Boy’s closet. Estelle’s vocals on this track are heavenly
#5: Find Your Wings (Feat. Kali Uchis, Syd, Roy Ayers)

This is one of Tyler’s best assembled songs. While the track sounds absolutely beautiful, there’s a sincere message in it all, find your own path, be yourself, and do what makes you happy, topics that Tyler touches on often
#4: NEW MAGIC WAND

This song puts Tyler’s jealous side on full display. This track focuses on Tyler speaking his displeasures with his love interest’s, other love interest. He wants his parter all to himself, nobody else. The procession on this beat gives me chills every time
#3: ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?

I love absolutely LOVE the instrumental on this track, the procession, the synths, the guitar, there’s not a note that’s not perfect. Thematically, Tyler is wrapping up IGOR, deciding if him and his former partner should remain a platonic friendship
#2: 48

48 portrays the story of a drug dealer who, despite knowing what he’s causing, continues to sell. He’s saying he has to do it in order to supply a life to those he loves, but he struggles with the morality of it all. The lyrics contain deep truths about our reality
#1: DEATHCAMP (Cole Alexander)

DEATHCAMP is a reflection of Tyler as we know him, reckless and never-caring. While this track may just seem like Tyler bragging, the messages goes far further. Tyler hates his fame and sees superstardom as a “death camp” thats inescapable
There’s my favorite Tyler, The Creator songs!

Tyler experiments with his style on every single new album, and I’m beyond excited to see what’s next!
