Babi Yar is a ravine in the outskirts of Kiev. In 1941, 34,000 jews were massacred in one of the many "genocide by bullets" in the Eastern Front.

On 19 September 1941, the German army with the help of the Einsatzgruppen entered Kiev as the Soviets were pushed out

This was the order issued by the Einsatzgruppen asking Jews to report to a street in Kiev and asking them to bring their valuables and jewels.

All the rumors you hear:
a)Soviets greeted the Nazis as liberators: Mostly false.
b)City dwellers are the collaborators!

The Bandera members were working with the Nazis.

The Fascists also take away people's property...

It was horrific.

Soviet Prisoners were forced to bury their dead neighbors while the Nazis supervised them.

And guess where these Einsatzgruppen members ended up.....

The amount of bloodshed that was witnessed is horrifying.

It was utter terror with no restraint.
