ANC 1D's September meeting is underway.
Of note:

We voted unanimously to support the lengthening of Purple Patch's "streatery" to accommodate more outdoor seating.

We unanimously authorized funding for the purchase of three public handwashing sinks as part of our ongoing response to COVID-19 in Mt. P.
We voted unanimously in favor of a request to the District Department of Transportation for a traffic safety assessment at Klingle Rd NW & Adams Mill Rd NW (lots of illegal right turns on red happen there, as well as speeding) - thanks to neighbors on NextDoor for raising this.
We voted unanimously to support @EachPeachDC's retail alcohol license renewal.
We voted unanimously in favor of a BZA application for special exceptions related to the 3215 Mt. Pleasant St mixed use development. Nothing new -- needed to move forward with the design the neighborhood previously weighed in on and Historic Preservation Review Board approved.
All in all, a productive meeting.
