How we can get the best out of our current XI assuming the addition of Sancho.

Clearly with the Calibre of fullbacks we have(Shaw and AWB) one would easily guess that they are not the best at keeping the width and creating through the sides.

They are best at defending probably 1v1.
We also have one of the most talented midfielders in the world who is being played in a double Pivot. I believe he has played his best football as a free 8 and should not be used in a double pivot.

Why?

We are clearly not elite at playing out from the back and teams can easily surround Pogba when he is with the ball then he looses possession in dangerous areas of the pitch. This wouldn't be a problem if we have centre backs with speed and quality but we are short at the moment.

So why don't we play to everyone's strength by playing our fullbacks as inverted fullbacks instead of playing them to keep width and attack.
The advantage of this is that it will give adequate cover to our centre backs and our defensive midfielder

Here we can see that Pep played Delph as a LB. Delph was not excellent at attacking and keeping width and Pep noticed that. So he played Walker and Delph as inverted fullbacks with Walker advancing a bit more ( In our case Walker will be Tells at LB if we get him)

From that picture we can see that Delph is in an excellent position to cover for the centre backs if something goes wrong.
I feel it's better if AWB performs a similar role to Delph on the right while Telles/Shaw performs the Walker role on the left.

Then every player on the team plays to its strength.
1. Pogba and Bruno are free to push up and combine with the wingers(Rashford and hopefully Sancho) and they don't have to worry about defensive responsibilities.

2. AWB and Shaw are in good positions to defend well without having to worry about attacking.
If Telles, he can drive up and attack through the middle, he can even decide to play through the side whenever he wants

3. Maguire and Lindelof/Bailly have enough cover from excellent defensive full backs and defensive midfielder to help out.
I think this system helps every single player in the team
